Dave has been helping senior citizens find their most appropriate Medicare plan for more than 20 years. It can be a complex process because there are so many factors to consider. Finding the money to pay for Senior Living can be just as complex. Dave Mersky knows how to navigate this process because he: (a) has experience as a real estate agent, (b) he knows how to use insurance leverage to help make a family’s money go further, and (c) he has experience understanding what is covered by the government and what is not. Dave completed an Alzheimer’s and Dementia Course along with the In-Home Assistant & Personal Care Assistant certification in July, 2022. These courses were presented by the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education through the University of Arkansas Medical School. In July, 2026, he earned the Mom’s House Senior Transition Specialist Certification. His undergraduate degree is in Agricultural Economics, his Master’s in Agronomy, and he holds a doctorate in Adult Education. In 2014 he completed five additional college classes to earn the designation of Chartered Advisor of Senior Living (CASL) from the American College of Financial Services. He became an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) in 2019. Dave has volunteered for two years at the Schmieding Medical Education Center in Springdale, AR as a group leader of a "Welcome to Medicare" presentation that he designed.
